Just getting started with dinner are PP John Meyer, PP Harry Kubota, Lei Darcey, visiting Pearlridge Rotarian PP Theo Stiller, and Marco Schlesser. Celebrating October birthdays are Larry Rawson, Nancy Manley, Johnny Sanchez, and Sandy Gaston.  Missing are Doug Kam-Young and Dianne Ward who had other obligations this evening. Membership Director Marco Schlesser tells everyone to be sure to come next week to benefit from our speaker presentation on how to increase membership. Vocational Service Director Jane Ferreira kicks off this month's Rotary theme by introducing another vocational presentation from member Peter Kirov.
Peter Kirov tells us of his years as a soccer coach with a couple of the worlds best Speaker Randy Rarick tells tales of his surfing days, including avoiding sharks.  He still directs the Triple Crown of surfing here in Hawaii and manages a $650,000 auction of surfing memorabilia. Pres Paul has Randy autograph a book for donation in his name to one of our adopted elementary schools.
