PP Chuck Harris and Anna Fishburn cheerfully work the check-in table.  Jerry Taniyama and Rosa Chen were our greeters this evening, assisted by PADG & PP Liz Kane.  The scenery helped too! The bar was open at our meeting place and Sharon Ehrhorn, Al & Hattie Dixon, and Keola Lloyd started the evening off there. Our speaker for the evening, Richel Cole, with two of her student assistants, Lindsey & Eric, settle in for dinner prior to their presentation. President Paul Jurcsak welcomes librarian Cari Belczak, a proposed new member for our club.
This is President Paul Jurcsak opens another lively meeting of our club. Club Service Director Sharon Ehrhorn gives us our thought for the day. Sandy Gaston at the mike to provide our educational Rotary Minute for the evenings meeting. Member Darrell Allison provides our Vocational Minute(s) describing his career as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine involving pet rescue and animal hospital.
Secretary Al Dixon explains his reasons for supporting the Rotary Foundation, after he and wife Hattie were presented with a Major Donor crystal and pins by Foundation Director Rich Zegar. With Prez Paul at her side, Vocational Services Director Jane Ferreira introduces our speaker for the evening, Richel Cole. Guest speaker Richel Cole explains her role in managing the six major educational robotics programs all across Hawaii. Student robotics competitor Lindsey explains her involvement in Hawaii Robotics and what a learning experience it has been for her. Student robotics competitor Eric Teshima demonstrates actual control of a robot named
Robot Speaker Richel Cole joins Prez Paul for the signing of our book to be donated to Jefferson Elementary in her name. Prez Paul joins our three guest speakers - Richel, Lindsey, and Erik - who have signed the speakers book for donation to our adopted Elementary school.
