Foundation Director Rich Zegar President Paul and PE Beth Hoban welcome UH Rotaracters to our meeting - incoming Rotaract President Kristine Espinoza on Paul's right, and incoming VP Geneva Graef on his left. The youmg man is a friend of Kristine. PP Chuck Harris, Rich Zegar, and Club Service Director Sharon Ehrhorn man the check-in table as proposed new member Paul Belczak arrives for the meeting. Settling in for the meeting are members Harold Murray, Darrell Allison, Doug Kam-Young, Anna Fishburn, and Nancy Manley.  A beautiful shot of our meeting venue at the WYC. Norris and Delores Sandvold are joined by their good friend and fellow Honolulu Club Rotarian Delorise Gregoire, who is a regular visitor to our club. Another look out across the yacht harbor before the sun sets for the evening.  What a wonderful meeting venue. Harold Murray delivers our Thought for the Day, AND a couple Incoming officers for the UH Rotaract Club Vice President Geneva Graef and President Kristine Espinoza make a plea to our members to buy tickets to their upcoming End Of Year Banquet fundraiser on April 30th. Community Service Director Johnny Sanchez calls on all members to participate in the Palolo clean-up project this Saturday which is also Rotary At Work Day.
Doug Kam-Young delivers our Rotary Moment for the evening. PP John Meyer makes an urgent plea to ALL members to solicit and turn in their items for the silent auction at our upcoming Jazz Under The Stars FUNdraiser. Club Secretary and Rich Zegar is in charge of aligning the help needed to operate our fundraiser.  ALL club members need to sign up in some category to help make the event a success. Newest member Cari Belczak gives us our evenings Vocational Minute by explaining her job as a librarian and how she got interested in the profession.
Member Keola Lloyd introduces our speaker for the evening, Big Island Mayor Billy Kenoi, with whom he had lunch earlier today. Big Island Mayor Billy Kenoi gave a very interesting presentation on alternative energy sources available to us here in the Islands and how we need to further develop those existing resources.
